The RFiD Discovery team have taken part in an internal company fund raising event to support BBC Children in Need, collecting a total of £427.60 and smashing their original fund raising target. Activities including a raffle, bake sale and a ‘Guess the Pudsey’ competition helped raise the money and the amount was then matched by a contribution from the company, bringing the grand total up to £855.20.

Andy James, Director of RFiD Discovery – Healthcare commented:

“It’s been fantastic experience to support BBC Children in Need, as we are not only helping a wonderful charity with our donation, but also had a great day, which has brought our team even closer together.”

In addition to staff contributions, the fund raising event was supported by a number of local businesses, who generously donated prizes, including Gaynors Cakes MK, Middleton Restaurant, Woburn Abbey, Kingfisher Country Club, MK Dons Football Club, Purple Mango Restaurant as well as Planet Ice.
