We are pleased to announce that one of the users of our Theatre Inventory Management system, Supply Chain and Systems Manager at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Phil Lapish will be presenting at the forthcoming NPAG Theatres, Sterile Services and Decontamination Conference on Wednesday, 16th March.

Phil’s presentation will feature how Addenbrooke’s Hospital is using latest RFID technology for inventory control and the efficient provision of supplies to their busy theatres. It will give details of the benefits Addenbrooke’s has experienced including:

  • Significant reduction in stock holding whilst guaranteeing that there is always sufficient inventory available for operations
  • Freeing up clinical staff to spend more time on patient care
  • Accounting for all consumables for operations
  • Accurate calculation of material costs of every operation

The event will be held at Drayton Manor Park and is aimed at NHS Managers in Theatres, Sterile Services and Decontamination. It will be focused on helping to improve the delivery and service of sterile and decontaminated devices and theatre services in the NHS, through support, knowledge and transparency for on-going patient safety within the NHS.

Our consultants will be available throughout the day to advise on Theatre Inventory Management with RFID.
